About the University
University College of Technology is a private institution of higher learning based in Mogadishu, Somalia. Following a year-long feasibility study conducted by Somali intellectuals and technology professionals, UCT was formally established and became operational in January 2015.
UCT was created as a centre for learning, teaching, and technology. The university delivers English-medium education and focuses on preparing students for academic, professional, and technological development.
